Privacy & Cookies
Last updated 2026. This page explains what we store and how to change your choices.
Cookies we use
- Essential — your shopping bag, account session, and your cookie choice. Always on; the shop cannot work without them.
- Advertising — Google AdSense serves display ads on our journal. With consent, ads may be personalised; if you choose “Essential only”, we request non-personalised ads.
- Measurement — aggregate page and order statistics so we know which designs to make next.
What advertising cookies are used for
We fund our free coloring pages partly with display ads from Google AdSense. The AdSense script is only loaded after you make a cookie choice — nothing ad-related runs on your first page view. Once loaded, Google and its ad partners may set cookies or read device identifiers to:
- Serve and select ads — decide which ad to show in a given slot, including contextual ads based on the page you are reading.
- Personalise ads — only if you chose “Accept all”. This may use your prior browsing and interests to pick ads.
- Frequency capping — avoid showing you the same ad repeatedly.
- Measurement & fraud prevention — count impressions and clicks and detect invalid traffic.
If you choose “Essential only”, we set Google’s non-personalised-ads flag before the script loads, so ads are contextual only and are not tailored to your profile. We never sell your name, email, or order history to advertisers, and we do not run ads on checkout or account pages.
How to change your consent
- Use the buttons at the bottom of this page to switch your choice instantly.
- Or select “Change cookie settings” to bring the consent banner back and choose again.
- Your choice is stored locally in your browser, so clearing site data will make the banner reappear. You will need to choose again on each browser and device.
Other ways to opt out
- Google Ads settings — myadcenter.google.com to turn off ad personalisation across Google services.
- Industry opt-outs — optout.aboutads.info (DAA) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
- Browser controls — block or delete third-party cookies, or use your browser’s “Do Not Track” / private browsing mode.
- Email — reply “unsubscribe” to any newsletter, or write to us to request access or deletion of your data.
Your data
We store your email when you subscribe (to send your free printable and studio news) and your order details so you can re-download purchases. You can request deletion of either at any time by replying to any email from us.
Regional rights
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland you may access, correct, export, or erase your data and withdraw consent at any time. If you are a California resident you may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — choosing “Essential only” applies that opt-out for advertising.
